The scope requires semi-annual testing and inspection of fire alarm systems (control panels, detectors, pull stations) and quarterly inspections of wet and dry sprinkler systems. The vendor must supply all labor, tools, and equipment to identify system problems and perform maintenance.

Required qualifications include a notarized affidavit certifying qualifications, factory training verification for all technicians with minimum three years of fire alarm experience, and technical phone support during business hours at no additional charge. Emergency response is required within four hours. All work is performed at Pontiac Correctional Center, 700 W. Lincoln Street, Pontiac, Illinois 61764, with no off-premises travel reimbursable.

The total maximum contract amount is $67,348.00, characterized as estimated pricing, with F.O.B. destination pricing. The contract term extends from execution through June 30, 2028, with a maximum total term not exceeding ten years across initial and renewal periods. The vendor must maintain general commercial liability insurance of $1 million per occurrence with $2 million annual aggregate, auto liability of $1 million per occurrence, and workers' compensation insurance as required by law, naming the State as an additional insured.
