About this opportunity
The Florida Department of Financial Services, Division of Investigative and Forensic Services, is procuring Special Events in Extremis Counter-IED training services from One Point USA, LLC. The training is a continuation of the FBI Tactical Bomb Tech Course and follows National Bomb Squad Commanders Advisory Board and Department of Homeland Security guidelines. The training is required to prepare the Division's experienced Explosive Ordinance Disposal team, which serves the entire state of Florida and provides aid to multiple agencies, with advanced skills beyond entry-level training. The training will be provided to 8 attendees and must be completed prior to August 30, 2022. The Department has determined that One Point USA, LLC is the only known provider of this specialized course that meets the advanced skill level required.
The Department has issued a notice of its intended decision to enter into an agreement with One Point USA, LLC for the $78,829.28 training, as the services are only available from this single source. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond, as this is a sole source procurement. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are listed, and no existing infrastructure or technology integration requirements are specified. The budget for this training has been set at $78,829.28.
