SP Compressed Gas Cylinder Refill Services

The Illinois State Toll Highway Authority (ISTHA) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide compressed gas cylinder refill services. The procurement is being conducted through a Request for Quotation (RFQ) process with electronic submissions required via email or the State's BidBuy system. The selected vendor will be responsible for furnishing and delivering compressed gas cylinder refill services, including pickup of empty cylinders, refilling, and delivery to two designated Tollway locations. The contract is for an estimated duration of two years, with the option to renew for up to two additional years. The RFQ specifies the required gases, safety and inspection requirements, invoicing and delivery timelines, and contract terms and conditions. Vendors are required to bid on all line items and both locations to be considered responsive, and the award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder with the lowest total bid price.

The procurement is a small purchase, and no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond are mentioned. The RFQ does not provide any information about incumbent vendors or current contractors, nor does it specify the award value or budget range. The solicitation also does not include details on any existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration.
