About this opportunity
The New Mexico Spaceport Authority is procuring sole-source support, maintenance, training, and software support for fuel farm equipment and related systems from Ascent Aviation Group, Inc. (World Fuel Services), with proposals due July 4, 2026. This is a sole-source procurement; the agency determined that World Fuel Services is the only qualified source because it originally constructed the fuel farm, built and delivered the fuel trucks, installed proprietary monitoring probes integrated into the fuel management software system, and provided initial aviation fuel training and certifications. The software controlling fuel inventory management, point-of-sale functions, invoicing, and proprietary aviation card processing is owned exclusively by World Fuel Services, and the agency certified that no other providers could deliver bundled maintenance, training, and software support services.
The scope encompasses five service categories: annual fuel farm maintenance including meter calibration and filter replacement; bi-annual fuel truck maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, meter calibration, and brake inspections; onsite aviation fuel handling and dispensing training conducted by licensed instructors (two-day session); TCS Software Monitoring and Support for the period July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027; and QT POD Software and Support for September 1, 2026 through October 31, 2027.
The total contract amount is $28,415.00 before tax, comprising annual fuel farm maintenance at $5,150.00, bi-annual fuel truck maintenance at $10,400.00 for two services, onsite training at $8,200.00, TCS Software support at $3,240.00, and QT POD Software support at $1,425.00. The contract term is twelve months. The New Mexico Spaceport Authority will initiate scheduling for maintenance and training services on or before November 2026. Ascent Aviation Group, Inc. holds SHARE Vendor Number 0000137108.
