The Greater Greensburg Sewage Authority in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, is seeking bids for Contract No. 2025-02, a project focused on Slate Run Interceptor Cleaning and CCTV inspection. The procurement involves cleaning and conducting closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection of approximately 2,500 linear feet of interceptor sewer located in Greensburg. Sealed bids will be received online via the PennBid Program until 10:00 AM local time on Thursday, November 6, 2025, with no bid withdrawal permitted for 60 days after bid opening. Bidders must submit an E-Verify Program Verification in compliance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act and provide a bid security of 10% of the total bid amount, either as a certified check or bid bond. Evaluation criteria include compliance with specifications, submission of required documentation, and meeting technical requirements for sewer interceptor cleaning and CCTV inspection. All plans and specifications are available online at no cost through the PennBid Program, with detailed technical requirements outlined in the bid specifications document.
The contract appears to be open to all qualified bidders, with no specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises mentioned. The Greater Greensburg Sewage Authority is an Equal Opportunity Employer and reserves the right to award or reject any proposals and waive bidding informalities. Successful bidders will be required to provide a performance surety of 100% of the contract amount and maintain comprehensive insurance coverage, including commercial general liability and workers' compensation. The project is subject to prevailing wage determinations and must adhere to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation regulations and other applicable laws. While a specific budget range is not explicitly stated, the requirement for a 100% performance surety suggests a potentially substantial project value. Contractors must demonstrate technical capability to perform interceptor cleaning and CCTV inspection services, with a focus on compliance with local and state regulatory requirements.
