About this opportunity

The City of Philadelphia is requesting quotes for sit/stand converter desks under a micro purchase opportunity, with quotes due October 7, 2026. The contract will be awarded as a whole or by line item, whichever serves the city's best interest, to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

Vendors must quote all items to be eligible for award. A Consent and Authorization Agreement executed according to the vendor's entity type (corporations require dual officer signatures; partnerships, LLCs, and sole proprietorships require authorized representative signature) must be on file in the vendor profile prior to bid closing; quotes without this document will not be considered. Vendors may attach the agreement to their profile during registration or include it with their first quote. Submission is through the PHLContracts eProcurement platform. Completion of an optional LGBTQ+ Applicant Data Form is voluntary and does not impact bid evaluation or award decisions. Selection of Local Business Entity (LBE) certification status is required during submission.

The total contract value shall not exceed $45,000, adjusted annually by the Consumer Price Index increase from January 1, 2020, to the most recently published index and rounded to the nearest thousand dollars. Contract term is 365 days from the effective date with automatic termination at conclusion. Prices must be quoted net and exclusive of taxes; the City is exempt from federal excise and transportation taxes and Pennsylvania sales and use tax. Delivery is FOB Destination Point. Quotes remain valid for 60 days from submission.

Successful sellers must provide Workers' Compensation at statutory limits, General Liability insurance with $500,000 per-occurrence limits, and Automobile Liability insurance with $300,000 per-occurrence limits. Sellers must certify non-indebtedness to the City and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws including ethics and nondiscrimination requirements. No delivery or services may commence until official department notification is received.

For Consent and Authorization Agreement submission assistance, contact Philadelphia Procurement Customer Service at PHLContracts@phila.gov or 215-686-4755, 215-686-4720, or 215-686-4721.
