About this opportunity
The state of Florida, through the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB), is seeking a single source provider to upgrade the Honeywell DVM Cameras for fiscal year 2023-2024. The estimated dollar amount for this procurement is not-to-exceed $289,972.71, with Honeywell International, Inc. / Honeywell Building Solutions identified as the intended sole source. The justification for the single source acquisition is that the Honeywell DVM video management system is a proprietary product, where Honeywell technicians and engineers are the only personnel factory-trained and certified to modify and work on the system. The procurement has an advertisement period from January 22, 2024, at 4:00 PM to February 12, 2024, at 4:00 PM, and the primary contacts for submitting questions are Leigh Gillette, Contract Administrator, and Kim Whitwam, Director of Purchasing, at FSDB.
This procurement is limited to Honeywell International, Inc. as the sole source provider due to the proprietary nature of the Honeywell DVM video management system. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond, as this is a single source acquisition. The current Honeywell DVM system is in place at the FSDB, and the selected vendor will be responsible for integrating with the existing infrastructure and technology. The budget for this procurement is set at a not-to-exceed amount of $289,972.71.
