About this opportunity

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) is seeking competitive bids for the installation of new doors at Rocky Fork State Park's campground shower houses. The procurement involves replacing doors at multiple locations, specifically Shower House #1 and #2, with a total of five 18-gauge hollow steel doors. Required specifications include installing steel frames without glass, stainless steel hinges with heavy-duty closers, pull handles, push plates, kick plates, aluminum thresholds, and one-way deadbolt locks that can be rekeyed by the park. The project requires complete removal of existing doors, frames, and concrete blocks, with precise installation of new doors according to specific technical requirements. Bidders are strongly encouraged to conduct a site inspection to verify exact door dimensions prior to proposal submission. The bid is due by October 16, 2025, with project completion required before February 27, 2026. Evaluation will be based on the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, calculated through a low lot total methodology.

This procurement is specifically designated as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) set-aside in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 125.081, which means only qualified minority-owned businesses can compete for this contract. The project will be funded through the state's standard procurement process, with the purchase order valid through June 30, 2026, and invoicing processed through Financial Shared Services (FSS). While no specific budget range is explicitly stated, the contract will be awarded to the most cost-effective bidder meeting all technical specifications. Invoices must include specific elements such as purchase order numbers and detailed service descriptions. Contractors must comply with Ohio's standard terms and conditions, including provisions related to offshore services, data location restrictions, and executive diversity requirements. The contract requires strict adherence to state procurement guidelines and will be subject to standard state contract terms as outlined in the attached documentation.
