About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a Purchase Order for a Sensitive Edge Assembly (item number 2099207) with a submission deadline of May 8, 2026. This procurement involves the supply of a specific mechanical or electronic component with the designation "Sensitive Edge Assy," though detailed specifications are accessible only through DART's Bonfire registration system and BidTable interface. Vendors must submit bids that include FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs incorporated into the overall quoted price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Deliveries must strictly adhere to specified timelines and rates, with any failure to meet delivery schedules subject to rejection and default termination by the Authority. All invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals, with payment issued under Net 30 terms calculated from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt date.
The procurement documents do not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or incumbent vendor information within the available summary materials. DART maintains tax-exempt status in Texas and will deduct applicable state and local sales taxes from vendor invoices. Vendors must comply with comprehensive contractual requirements including commercial warranty provisions ensuring merchantable quality, equal employment opportunity commitments, foreign terrorist organization certifications, Israel boycott compliance certifications, and representations that no public officials hold financial interest in the transaction. The contract is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and disputes are resolved through a two-tier appeal process beginning with the Contracting Officer's decision, which may be appealed to DART authority within 30 days. No specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the available procurement documentation.

In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12.
