About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a purchase order for a Sensitive Edge Assembly (item 2098252) in Dallas County, Texas. This procurement involves the acquisition of a specific component or assembly, though detailed product specifications and quantities are not fully disclosed in the available documentation. Bidders must submit responses through the BONFIRE registration system, accessing the detailed specifications and vendor response fields via the in-browser BidTable by scrolling right within the "Prepare Your Submission" portal. The submission deadline is March 18, 2026, with the opportunity posted on March 11, 2026. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Time and rate of delivery are critical to the order, with seller failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. Evaluation will be based on compliance with DART's Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, pricing competitiveness, and ability to meet delivery requirements.

The procurement documentation does not specify set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises, minority-owned businesses, or other restricted vendor categories; therefore, this opportunity appears open to all qualified vendors. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available materials. Payment terms are Net 30, with invoices due 30 days from receipt or 30 days from order receipt, whichever is later, submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org. All invoices must include the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. DART is exempt from Texas state and local sales and use taxes, and any such taxes included on invoices will be deducted from payment. The specific award value or budget range for this procurement has not been disclosed in the available documentation.
