The scope comprises twelve new mini-split heat pump systems and one roof-top package unit to replace existing R-22 refrigerant air conditioning units. Equipment specifications include ten two-ton mini-split heat pump outdoor units with matching indoor ceiling cassettes, one two-ton mini-split outdoor unit with wall-mount air handler, one three-ton mini-split outdoor unit with ceiling cassette, and one ten-ton roof-top package heat pump unit with 15-kilowatt heat strips. All mini-split units require twelve thermostat interfaces. Mini-split systems must operate on 208/230-volt alternating current single-phase power; the roof-top unit requires three-phase power.

All equipment must meet minimum efficiency ratings certified by AHRI: 20 SEER2 or higher, 13 EER21 or higher, and 9.8 HSPF2 or higher for mini-split units; 14.1 IEER or higher and 11 EER or higher for the roof-top package unit. Contractors must provide five-year warranties on replacement parts for all units and a separate seven-year warranty on compressors. Quotes must include manufacturer identification, model numbers, technical documentation, product data sheets, and compliance certifications.

Pricing must be submitted on the provided RFQ form with materials and labor costs separated by line item, excluding all sales and use taxes, with freight prepaid and included in the quoted price. Delivery is required within thirty days after receipt of purchase order to the SCDJJ Warehouse at 1745 Shivers Road, Columbia. SCDJJ Physical Plant's internal maintenance staff will handle all removal, installation, configuration, and programming; the contractor furnishes and delivers equipment only.
