About this opportunity
Royal Oak Schools Board of Education is requesting sealed proposals for practice athletic field renovations at Royal Oak High School (1500 Lexington Boulevard, Royal Oak, Michigan) under RFP #27-03, with proposals due October 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. via Buildingconnected.com.
Each proposal must include two sworn and notarized statements: one disclosing any familial relationships between the contractor's owner or employees and members of the Board of Education or Superintendent, and another certifying that the contractor is not an Iran Linked Business. Failure to include either statement results in automatic rejection.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for October 15, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Turf Football Field on the northeast area of the property. Interested bidders may arrange individual site visits by contacting Mark Paulus at mark.paulus@royaloakschools.org or (248) 880-6791. Bids will be publicly opened immediately following the submission deadline via virtual meeting accessible through Google Meet (meet.google.com/zre-xocm-nqk) or by phone at (339) 788-5371, PIN 680 370 258#.
Bid documents are available through the Royal Oak Schools website at www.royaloakschools.org under District/Departments/Finance and Current Bids, as well as on Buildingconnected.com. Only electronic submissions through Buildingconnected.com are accepted; physical bids submitted in person or via delivery service will not be accepted.
The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals in whole or in part, to waive informalities or irregularities, and to award the contract to other than the lowest bidder at its sole discretion. No contract value, budget range, or contract term is specified in the source materials.
