The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements under Connecticut General Statutes Section 31-53, making it a public works procurement with mandatory wage and fringe-benefit compliance.

The scope encompasses removal and replacement of approximately 7,100 square feet of existing ballasted built-up roofing with a new EPDM membrane roofing system. Work includes off-site disposal of existing roofing materials, insulation, cant strips, tapered edge components, and metal flashings; removal and replacement of the roof hatch and accessories; removal and replacement of deteriorated roof decking and wood blocking; removal and replacement of existing roof drains with associated piping and insulation; and installation of new flashings, coping, fascia, sheet metal trim, and scuppers. All work shall be performed in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes.
