Rnewal -NOT A BID OPPORTUNITY - Steamfitter Services Elgin MHC

This is a renewal notice for a contract to provide steamfitter repair and maintenance services at the Elgin Mental Health Center in Kane County, Illinois. The Illinois Department of Human Services procured the contract through the Invitation for Bid process and awarded it to the lowest priced responsive and responsible bidder, Anchor Mechanical Inc. The contract has an initial term of 36 months with two renewal options and a total contract value of $72,312.50. The contractor will provide labor, materials, and equipment to complete steamfitter repairs and maintenance on the steam systems at the Elgin Mental Health Center. No set-asides or preferences were indicated in the award. This is a renewal of an existing contract, and the purchasing agency has provided justification for the award decision. The contract does not appear to have any specific qualifications or evaluation criteria, and no dates, deadlines, or schedules were provided beyond the due date of March 22, 2019 for the renewal notice.

The contract is open to all qualified vendors and does not appear to have any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The incumbent vendor, Anchor Mechanical Inc., is continuing to provide these services under the renewal. No information was provided about any existing infrastructure or technology that would require integration.
