About this opportunity
The Georgia Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is seeking a qualified supplier to provide a Risk Management Information System (RMIS) as part of their Technology and Process Modernization Project (TPMP). This Request for Proposal (RFP) aims to establish a contract for a comprehensive RMIS solution that will support the state's risk management services. Interested suppliers must carefully review all solicitation documents, with Attachment A containing critical instructions, rules, and regulations for response preparation. The procurement opportunity is structured with a bidders' conference scheduled for April 15, 2025, at 1:00 pm, which is optional but strongly recommended for potential vendors. The proposal submission deadline is set for May 2, 2025, with strict guidelines that emphasize the importance of complete and accurate documentation. Suppliers are warned that missing or incomplete required documents may result in disqualification from contract consideration. Additionally, all submitted materials will be subject to Georgia's Open Records Act, meaning both the solicitation documents and the selected supplier's response will become part of the final agreement.
The solicitation does not explicitly specify set-aside designations or specific restrictions on responding organizations. The procurement appears to be open to qualified technology vendors specializing in risk management information systems. While specific budget ranges are not detailed in the provided documentation, the comprehensive nature of the RMIS project suggests a significant technology investment. The RFP indicates that the selected solution will need to integrate with existing infrastructure and support the modernization of risk management technology and processes. Potential respondents should be prepared to demonstrate robust technical capabilities, experience with government risk management systems, and the ability to deliver a comprehensive solution that meets the state's specific requirements. The procurement process emphasizes transparency, with all documents potentially becoming public record under Georgia's Open Records Act, which suggests a need for thorough and professional proposal preparation.
