About this opportunity
Monroe County Intermediate School District is requesting sealed proposals for Rifton product chairs and accessories for its Special Education program, with proposals due July 22, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. and public bid opening at 1:05 p.m. the same day.
The scope covers eleven Rifton chair models (R820, R840, R860, S410, S420, S430, K610, K620, K630, K640, and K650) with ancillary components. Bidders must provide unit pricing for each chair and its required accessories on provided forms. All furniture delivery must be completed within 60 days of award; vendors coordinate with the district and provide a minimum of two days' notice prior to delivery.
Pricing is FOB destination with payment on Net 30 days. Monroe County ISD is exempt from sales tax and will provide a tax exemption certificate. Bids remain valid for 60 days following opening and cannot be withdrawn during that period.
Proposals must include a completed bid form with all sections filled, a signed and notarized Familial Relationship Disclosure Statement, a Certification of Compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act, and three references. False certifications regarding Iran sanctions compliance carry civil penalties up to $250,000 or twice the contract amount (whichever is greater), investigation costs, and attorney fees, with bidder ineligibility for three years. The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and make awards in its best interest.
Sealed proposals are submitted to Chad Baas, Assistant Superintendent for Business and Administrative Services at the Monroe County ISD Educational Center.
