The solicitation includes specific requirements for Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) participation, mandating a minimum of 10% of the total contract value be awarded to certified MBE/WBE firms. Vendors must submit a bid surety bond or certified check for 5% of their proposal amount and, if awarded the contract, provide 100% payment and performance bonds prior to purchase order issuance. The project includes a $5,000 allowance for unforeseen demolition conditions and will assess liquidated damages of $500 per day for delays beyond the substantial completion date. While no specific budget range is explicitly stated, vendors are required to provide a base bid price and unit pricing for additional work such as gypsum board patching, ceiling patching, painting, and flooring replacement. The state reserves the right to make one or multiple awards and will evaluate proposals based on compliance with solicitation requirements, MBE/WBE participation, and overall project capabilities.
