About this opportunity
The City of Fort Worth is requesting quotes for landscape irrigation services on an as-needed basis for the Water Department under RFQt 26-0253, with quotes due July 24, 2026. This is an indefinite-quantity contract subject to the City's Small Business Program under Chapter 21 of the Fort Worth Code.
Services must meet or exceed Texas Commission on Environmental Quality standards and include 24-hour, 365-day availability with both non-emergency and emergency response capabilities. The contractor must maintain an adequate number of TCEQ-licensed or certified employees. The initial contract term is one year, with the option for up to four additional one-year renewal periods contingent upon 90 days' written notice of non-renewal by either party.
Pricing will be evaluated on a lowest responsive and responsible bidder basis, with all prices firm throughout the contract term including freight and delivery. The City reserves the right to make multiple awards and may add additional services in the same general category based on the bidder's submitted discount and pricing sheet. Bidders must submit detailed, itemized cost estimates separating labor, materials, and rental costs at no charge. Mark-up percentages on materials and parts are subject to approval. The City reserves the right to purchase repair parts from existing annual agreements if costs are lower than the contractor's estimate when repair parts exceed $1,000.
The vendor must maintain comprehensive insurance including $1 million commercial general liability per occurrence and $2 million aggregate, $1 million automobile liability, statutory workers' compensation, and $1 million professional liability (claims-made, extending two years beyond service completion). The agreement permits 30-day termination by either party and non-appropriation of funds as a termination basis without penalty.
All proposals must be submitted electronically through the Euna Portal. Payment terms are Net 30 following direct deposit registration, with invoices submitted electronically to supplierinvoices@fortworthtexas.gov. Proposals are firm for 90 calendar days following opening. Subcontractors are not permitted unless pre-approved by the City upon award.
