The scope includes on-site air monitoring during asbestos abatement work, preparation of asbestos inspection and abatement plans, verification of contractor certifications and statutory compliance, collection and analysis of air samples using Phase Contact Microscopy, and generation of comprehensive monitoring reports.
The base contract term is three years with two optional one-year renewal periods, with a maximum cumulative contract value of $7 million. Individual job orders cannot exceed $1 million, and maximum annual job orders in any twelve-month period shall not exceed $1.75 million. Pricing escalation is not permitted during the contract term or option years. Proposers must submit hourly rates for on-site inspection and air monitoring, overtime inspection and air monitoring, sample preparation and reading, reports and close-out documents, and other associated costs with itemized details.
The contract requires UNTS named as additional insured on all policies, including Commercial General Liability ($1 million each occurrence, $2 million aggregate), Business Automobile Liability ($1 million combined single limit), Umbrella Liability ($2 million), Pollution Liability and Remediation Coverage ($5 million each incident liability and remediation, $10 million aggregate), and Workers' Compensation at statutory limits with Employer's Liability ($1 million per category). Proposers must provide three references from similar projects completed within the last five years. Questions are due July 27, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. CDT, with answers posted by July 31.
