About this opportunity

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) is seeking proposals from qualified firms for a Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) Solution. The Software and Services requested include a comprehensive RPM solution with daily/weekly/monthly patient monitoring, nurse-on-demand integration, escalation trees, full patient recruitment, and compliance goals. The solution must be highly configurable and interoperable, capable of integrating with multiple Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms used by TTUHSC, including Cerner, Epic, Allscripts, and various instances of Cerner. The evaluation criteria include pricing, experience, solution specifications, and the vendor's ability to meet TTUHSC's needs. The RFP has a due date of December 20, 2023, and the anticipated contract term is from the date of execution until August 31, 2025, with two optional one-year renewal periods.

The RFP is open to parties inside and outside the State of Texas, and TTUHSC is seeking creative and secure solutions that can integrate with their existing EMR platforms. TTUHSC prefers a SaaS (cloud-based) solution with direct cloud connectivity, and is open to solutions that offer 24/7 coverage, computer recycling, and single sign-on integration using SAML 2.0 or CAS. The target patient population includes those with conditions such as hypertension, congestive heart failure, high-risk pregnancies, diabetes, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. TTUHSC plans to implement the RPM solution in a phased approach, starting with an initial pilot in the Lubbock market.
