About this file
This document is an Addendum to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) for a Remote Patient Monitoring Solution. The RFP is open to parties inside and outside the State of Texas, and seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide a Remote Patient Monitoring Solution, as described in Section 5.4 of the RFP. The solution must have direct cloud connectivity without the need for additional hardware, and TTUHSC prefers a SaaS (cloud-based) solution. The RFP covers TTUHSC locations only and does not include the rest of the Texas Tech University System. TTUHSC is open to creative and secure solutions that can integrate with their existing EMR platforms, including Cerner, IDX, and Allscripts.
The addendum provides responses to additional questions submitted by potential proposers. These include requirements around certifications, licenses, and insurances, as well as details on patient eligibility, analytics, and integration with digital health apps. TTUHSC also clarifies that a Hub Subcontracting Plan is optional, and provides guidance on Form 1295 and registering with the State of Texas. TTUHSC prefers solutions that offer 24/7 coverage, computer recycling, and single sign-on integration using SAML 2.0 or CAS.
