About this opportunity
Cherokee County is seeking competitive sealed proposals for a comprehensive County Procurement Management Platform through RFP 2025-029, aimed at modernizing procurement operations and meeting current public sector sourcing best practices. The procurement involves implementing a digital solution that will facilitate the entire procurement lifecycle, including departmental requisition intake, solicitation management, vendor engagement, evaluation, and award processes. The system must be specifically tailored to public sector requirements and designed to handle increasing procurement volume, complexity, and transparency demands. No mandatory meeting is scheduled for this solicitation, and all times referenced are in the Eastern Time Zone. The Request for Proposals consists of two primary documents: the main solicitation and the Cherokee County Standard Solicitation Terms and Conditions. The county reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive technicalities, and select the most advantageous contract option. Proposals are due by May 7, 2025, with the opportunity originally posted on April 11, 2025.
While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, the procurement appears open to qualified technology vendors specializing in public sector procurement platforms. The county has not disclosed incumbent vendors or existing technological infrastructure that might require integration. No explicit budget range or award value was specified in the solicitation details. Prospective vendors should carefully review both solicitation documents and understand that Cherokee County will evaluate proposals based on their ability to meet the stated procurement modernization objectives. The county's selection process will prioritize solutions that demonstrate comprehensive functionality, public sector adaptability, and alignment with current procurement best practices. Vendors should be prepared to provide a robust digital platform capable of managing complex procurement workflows while ensuring transparency and efficiency in the county's purchasing processes.
