About this opportunity
The City of Kissimmee Parks & Recreation Department is requesting information on sponsorships for recreational programs, events, and venues with proposals due September 25, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Sponsorship levels and monetary values are flexible and tailored to each program, event, or venue's unique nature, size, and needs; the City anticipates multiple awards at varying sponsorship levels.
Proposals must include the sponsor's name and contact information, organizational summary with previous sponsorship experience, identification of specific City events, programs, or venues the organization wishes to sponsor along with desired sponsorship levels, and at least three professional references from industry partners or past performance hosts or venues. Submissions are directed to Matt Libby, Assistant Director of the Parks & Recreation Department, at 101 Church Street, Suite 330, Kissimmee, Florida 34741, or matt.libby@kissimmee.gov.
Evaluation allocates 35 points for the value of proposed support or in-kind services, 20 points for consistency of product and services with event audience, 20 points for experience, credibility, reputation, and history, 15 points for operating and maintenance expenses to the City, and 10 points for conflict of interest considerations. The Parks & Recreation Director or designee makes final determinations regarding sponsorship level awards per event.
Sponsorship agreement terms begin upon execution by the last party and conclude at the event's conclusion. Sponsors receive a right of first refusal to renew for one additional year if exercised by January 5, 2027. Sponsorship payments are made by invoiced dates specified in individual agreements. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals based on its best interests and is not responsible for proposal preparation costs.
