About this opportunity
Phoenix Union High School District No. 210 is requesting information on industry, community, and business partnerships for an Advanced Technical Center (ATC), a new career and technical education campus, with responses due November 23, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. This is a Request for Information (RFI) only—not a bid, contract, or pricing request—and carries no cost or obligation to respond or commit to a specific agreement.
The ATC will open in the 2028–2029 school year serving grades 10–12 in south Phoenix, prioritizing access for South Phoenix and Laveen communities. Initial enrollment is 250 students, growing by approximately 250 annually to reach 1,000+ students by 2031–32. Phase I programming includes three pathway clusters: Health Care Sciences (CNA, Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, EMT/EMS, and PCT certifications); Information Technology/Cybersecurity (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, and Cyber Operations certifications); and Semiconductor & Advanced Manufacturing with simulated clean room and NIMS Semiconductor Pre-Apprentice Certification. Phase II will add Skilled Trades pathways including Electrician, HVAC, and CNC Automation.
PXU seeks partnerships in three primary areas: Advisory Council membership and strategic guidance, curriculum and credentialing expertise, and equipment and facilities expertise. Respondents must submit a vendor introduction letter, identify their organization type, select pathway interests, describe partnership preferences, outline organizational capacity and resources, and indicate existing programs or relationships relevant to the pathways through the Procurement Portal.
A non-mandatory pre-response meeting is scheduled November 12, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at 4520 N. Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85012 (2nd Floor). Questions are due November 17, 2026 at 4:00 p.m., directed to Lila McCleery, Director of Purchasing, at mccleery@phoenixunion.org.
