The project scope encompasses removal of trees and root wads from an active slide that has blocked access to a residential property, excavation and transportation of slide material to a designated waste area located 700 feet east of the site on an abandoned mine bench, construction of erosion control ditches (ECB ditch and Class II ditch), replacement of driveway stone in kind, installation of sediment control measures, revegetation of the waste area, and salvage of trees for firewood. All bids must be submitted electronically through the State Plan Room (https://www.stateofkyplanroom.com) using the Owner's Document Collaboration System (eCommunications) no later than March 23, 2022, at 10:30 A.M. Eastern Time. A mandatory site visit meeting is scheduled for March 10, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time at project coordinates 37.1902 N latitude and 83.8255 W longitude, and attendance is strongly encouraged. Bidders must completely fill out all required forms, identify their firm's position as prime bidder, miscellaneous subcontractor, material supplier, or other entity, and submit bids through the designated electronic system only; late bids will not be accepted. Plans, specifications, and drawings are available for download at no charge through the State Plan Room, with hard copies available for purchase through Lynn Imaging's online planroom.
