About this opportunity
Dougherty County School System (DCSS) in Georgia is requesting quotations for copy/printer paper to restock the district warehouse under RFQ 012-SNS-2024, with proposals due August 8, 2023, and a questions-and-answers deadline of July 25, 2023. A local preference policy applies whereby Dougherty County suppliers within two percent or $2,500, whichever is less, of the lowest responsive bid may match the bid to secure the purchase.
The scope is 2,500 cases of 8.5" × 11" white copy/printer paper, 500 sheets per ream (5,000 sheets per case). Delivery is to the district warehouse at 601 Flint Avenue, Albany, Georgia, on a prepaid basis between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding school holidays. The district's usage over the preceding 12 months was 3,000 cases, ordered in full truckload quantities. Pricing must be submitted on a per-case or per-carton basis and remain fixed for the entire contract term; bulk discounts and cooperative-agreement pricing are permitted, but no price adjustments are allowed.
The contract term runs September 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024 (10 months), with no renewal options. Bid opening is scheduled for August 8, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Logistical Services Department, with a live Zoom stream available. Successful bidders must possess a valid FCC Service Provider ID Number (SPIN), as DCSS anticipates using supportive funding from the Federal Universal Service Fund (E-Rate), with final purchase dependent on securing that funding. Bidders must submit compliance documents including debarment certifications, non-collusion certifications, and Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act affidavits. DCSS reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and extend pricing, terms, and conditions to any Dougherty County governmental entity.
