About this opportunity

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking information from interested parties on behalf of the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) for the modernization of the agency's case management system to meet the federal requirements of a Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS). The current system, Information Management Protecting Adults and Children in Texas (IMPACT), is mandated to be replaced with a more efficient, interoperable, and secure system per state legislative requirements. DFPS is requesting information on solution options that are cloud-based, market-ready, and align with CCWIS principles. Specific details are requested on modules, implementation, hardware/software, licensing, risks, data migration, architecture, maintenance, and experience with state child welfare programs and CCWIS implementations. Responses are due by July 12, 2024 at 10:30 AM Central Time.

The RFI does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. DFPS may use the information gathered through this RFI to develop one or more procurements for the development of the new case management system, but the potential award values or budget ranges are not provided.
