About this opportunity
The Ohio Army National Guard is requesting quotes for replacement of an inoperable compressor on a Mitsubishi City Multi Unit model PURY-P96TKMU-A at the OHARNG Armory, 1257 Holler Lane, Newark, Ohio, with quotes due August 19, 2026 and a site visit scheduled for August 7 at 10:30 a.m.
The scope involves disconnecting and removing the existing inoperable HNB83FA-U compressor (Serial number 24W22790, using R410 refrigerant at 120 lbs), disposing of the unit, and installing a new compressor matching existing unit specifications to function alongside other operational compressors. All plumbing installations and connections must be performed by a certified mechanical technician. All HVAC installations must follow manufacturer directions and recommendations and comply with federal, state, and local codes and industry standards. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary licenses and permits, locating underground utilities (electrical, water, gas, communication), and removing all project-generated rubbish with submission of waste disposal tickets upon completion. Any utility interruption must be reported verbally to the owner's project manager within one hour and in writing within twenty-four hours.
Contractors must submit quotes through the online portal using the questionnaire upload functionality. An Environmental Work Plan must be developed and submitted within 30 calendar days of notice to proceed, with no work commencing until final approval. Contractors are responsible for environmental compliance including waste characterization, disposal through Defense Logistics Agency-qualified haulers, weekly waste inspection records, monthly rollup reports, and immediate reporting of spills on OHARNG forms within 24 hours. Hazardous waste handling, asbestos and lead abatement, and other environmental hazards require certified contractors and appropriate licensure.
