About this opportunity
The Town of Lake Park, Florida is soliciting bids through Invitation to Bid (ITB) for quarterly HVAC preventive maintenance and emergency repair services, with proposals due November 30, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. EST. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit precede that deadline. The solicitation indicates no set-aside, and no local-vendor preference is stated. The Town will award a single contractor based on competitive sealed bids, and no bid bond is required.
The contractor must perform four preventive-maintenance visits per year at the listed Town facilities and provide emergency service when requested. The annual price includes routine filters, standard belts, lubricants, algaecide, ordinary cleaning materials, labor, travel, tools, and disposal for preventive-maintenance work. Major repairs, replacement parts, refrigerant, and work outside routine maintenance are separately quoted and performed only after the Town's written authorization. The commodity code is 022-914-50, Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning services. Bidders must review equipment and site conditions that affect pricing during the site visit.
Four plan holders have registered interest: Everest Mechanical Services LLC, Johnson Controls, Onvia, Inc., and Precision Air Systems, Inc. Questions must be submitted through the Town Clerk under the procurement schedule. The ITB is attached as a 77KB file posted October 30, 2026, the same date the opportunity was posted.
