About this opportunity

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) is seeking a vendor to supply poly furniture for the Caesar Creek State Park Marina in Waynesville, Warren County, Ohio. The procurement involves purchasing specific Berlin Gardens Furniture items, including 2 ADA Octagon Picnic Tables, 2 Garden Classic 44" Square Dining Tables, 8 Bristol Dining Chairs, 1 Garden Classic 44"x72" Rectangular Counter Height Table, 6 Comfo Back Counter Chairs, and an optional line item of 2 Comfo Back Three Seat Gliders with Console. All furniture must be Cedar on Black color, with assembly and delivery included. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on a low lot total calculation, which requires bidding on all items. Vendors must provide 2 examples of similar completed projects with photos and references, and complete a pre-award meeting with DNR staff. The solicitation was posted on December 17, 2024, with proposals due by January 10, 2025, and a desired completion/delivery date of "as soon as possible." Bidders are encouraged to conduct a site visit prior to submitting their bid, with delivery to be made to Caesar Creek State Park Marina at 8574 E State Route 73, Waynesville, OH 45068.

The procurement does not explicitly mention specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises, though the Ohio Buys registration materials suggest potential opportunities for EDGE (Encouraging Diversity, Growth and Equity), MBE (Minority Business Enterprise), and VBE (Veteran Business Enterprise) designations. Contractors must complete an Affirmation and Disclosure Form confirming their service and data locations, with strict requirements about maintaining services within the United States. The solicitation requires vendors to have the capability to provide poly outdoor furniture and demonstrate previous experience with similar marina or park furnishing projects. While no specific budget range is listed, the procurement appears to be a targeted replacement of existing marina outdoor deck furniture. The purchase order will be valid for goods and services received through June 30, 2025, and requires tax-exempt delivery. Vendors must be registered in the Ohio Buys system and prepared to comply with the state's standard terms and conditions, including maintaining appropriate insurance coverages and adhering to public records and confidentiality requirements.
