About this opportunity
The City of Yonkers Fire Department is seeking quotations for specific medical supplies through a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Bureau of Purchasing. The procurement targets three primary medical equipment items: 2 CMI Health Handheld Capnographs (PC-900B), 4 Intersurgical i-gel Plus O2 Resus Packs (specifically 4 boxes of 6 for a total of 24 Medium Adult size), and 1 Curaplex Capnography ETCO2 Sampling Lines Multipack. Vendors must provide fixed and firm unit prices that include shipping and delivery, with the city reserving the right to award based on price, availability, and lead time. The submission deadline is July 3, 2025, at 12:00 PM EST, with delivery required as soon as possible. Evaluation criteria include not only pricing but also product specifications, with vendors required to provide detailed manufacturer information, make, and model numbers. Proposals for "OR EQUAL" products are permitted, but must include comprehensive technical specifications subject to final approval by the Yonkers Fire Department.
The procurement opportunity appears open to all vendors, with a potential preference for New York State Certified Minority or Women Owned Business Enterprises. Vendors must submit the Rider Contract Provisions for Non-Federal Entity Contracts, which includes compliance requirements with federal regulations such as equal employment opportunity, Davis-Bacon Act, and Clean Air Act standards. The city is tax-exempt, and vendors will not collect tax when presented with an official purchase order. While specific budget ranges are not explicitly stated, the procurement suggests a focused medical equipment acquisition with potential for future ongoing supply needs. Vendors must demonstrate compliance with federal procurement standards, including provisions against debarment, and be prepared to provide access to records for potential auditing. The contract provisions emphasize transparency, fairness, and strict adherence to federal procurement guidelines for contracts involving federal financial assistance.
