The City of Yonkers Fire Department is seeking competitive quotes for various Emergency Medical Services (EMS) supplies through Request for Quotation (RFQUA) 2025-9510, with bids due on May 5, 2025, at 12:00 PM EST. The procurement involves six specific medical items: Microdot Xtra Test Strips (30 units), alcohol prep pads (3 boxes), adhesive bandages (5 boxes), Auvi-Q Epinephrine Auto-Injectors in junior and adult dosages (4 and 6 packages respectively), and an oxygen regulator (30 units). Vendors must provide fixed and firm unit prices that include shipping and delivery, and are required to specify manufacturer, make, and model number for each item. The City reserves the right to award the contract based on multiple factors including price, availability, and lead time, with final approval of products determined by the Yonkers Fire Department. Vendors proposing "OR EQUAL" products must submit comprehensive technical specifications and detailed information for review. Delivery is requested as soon as possible, and vendors must submit Rider Contract Provisions for Non-Federal Entity Contracts as part of their quote submission.
The solicitation encourages participation from New York State Certified Minority or Women Owned Business Enterprises, though no specific set-aside requirements are explicitly stated. Vendors must comply with federal regulations including equal employment opportunity standards, Davis-Bacon Act provisions, and Clean Air Act requirements. The City of Yonkers is tax-exempt, and vendors are not required to collect sales tax when presented with an official Purchase Order. While no specific budget range is disclosed, the procurement appears to be for standard EMS supplies with an emphasis on competitive pricing and quick delivery. Potential respondents must demonstrate compliance with comprehensive federal contracting guidelines, including provisions around non-discrimination, workplace safety, and financial transparency. The contract appears to be a 12-month rider, with strict requirements for ethical standards and regulatory compliance in government contracting.
