The contractor must provide warranty of three years or 36,000 miles for general coverage, five years or 60,000 miles for powertrain, and one year for the boom lift and body, with $0.00 deductible including travel and labor through local Los Angeles-area dealers. Requested delivery is within 180 days of contract effective date. The contractor must deliver to 742 North Mission Road, Los Angeles, CA 90033, Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., provide complete operator manuals and digital OEM documentation, and comply with all applicable Federal Railroad Administration, California Air Resources Board, EPA Tier 4, and relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
Evaluation will assess compliance with the Scope of Services (Exhibit A, dated July 6, 2026) and Technical Requirements (Exhibit A.1, Specification MA-24-22) on a yes-or-no basis. The contract is firm fixed price based on federal and local funding, subject to fiscal year funding availability. Payment terms are Net 30. Written questions are due October 13, 2026, with clarifications provided by October 20, 2026. The contract includes zero option periods and all services must be completed by May 31, 2027. Award will be made to the proposer whose proposal is most advantageous to LACMTA, with debriefing available within five days of Notice of Intent to Award.
