About this opportunity
The State of Maine is requesting quotations for vehicle fire extinguishers to supply the MMA-Limestone Facility, with bids due November 8, 2010. The scope specifies dry chemical fire extinguishers (Purple-K), specifically AMEREX model B416TS or A416T or equivalent units, conforming to Commercial Item Number A-A-393, Type 1, Class 2, Size 5. The estimated 12-month purchase volume ranges from 400 to 600 units, with an immediate initial order of approximately 140 units and subsequent replenishment orders based on actual production and supply needs. Mounting brackets must conform to original AMEREX design specifications. Delivery is to 125 Kansas Road, Limestone, Maine 04750, and all freight and delivery charges must be included in bid prices.
Bidders must provide complete legal company or entity name, DUNS and CAGE Code information if applicable, and successfully pass screening through the federal Excluded Parties List System (EPLS). A Debarment Certification under Executive Order 12549 is required, confirming that the vendor and principals are not debarred, suspended, proposed for debarment, or voluntarily excluded from covered transactions, and have not been convicted of fraud, criminal offenses, or other specified infractions in connection with public transactions within the preceding three years. Sample items may be required prior to contract award. Contract award will be made to the qualified bidder offering the most advantageous terms, considering price, product quality, delivery capabilities, and compliance with all bidding requirements and specifications. All inquiries should be directed to the State Purchasing Division, not the MMA-Limestone Facility directly.
