About this opportunity
Cape May County Municipal Utilities Authority (CMCMUA) is soliciting proposals for professional surveying services for 2027 with proposals due November 19, 2026. The solicitation comprises two distinct service components: general surveying on an as-needed, time-and-materials basis, and a lump-sum annual topographic survey of the CMCMUA Sanitary Landfill required by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
The general-services portion covers surveying work within Cape May County at CMCMUA-owned facilities or new parcel acquisitions on demand, with an expectation that survey work will commence within one week of request. Proposals must provide hourly rates by job title, with fees including all direct and indirect labor costs and profit and overhead. Each assignment requires written authorization from the CMCMUA Chief Engineer or Executive Director with a not-to-exceed limit per assignment.
The lump-sum portion requires a new topographic survey of six landfill cells totaling 93 acres (Cells 1A through 1F: 17, 16, 18, 12, 13, and 17 acres respectively). The scope includes a new site location map, field survey of all cells, preparation of a complete topographic map, and additional tasks associated with landfill operations. The most recent comprehensive topographic survey was completed in 2025. Proposals must include the required proposal form with hourly compensation by title; firms may substitute equivalent titles if their internal titles differ from those listed in the solicitation.
Place of performance is Cape May County, New Jersey. No estimated contract value, incumbent contractor, evaluation criteria, pre-proposal meeting, or question deadline is identified in the source.
