About this opportunity

The City of Austin Purchasing Office is requesting quotations for a Primary Current Test Set under IFQ 1100 AGM1014, with quotes due by 2:00 PM on July 7, 2026. All quoted items must meet or exceed City of Austin specifications; the City retains the right to determine equivalency.

The scope comprises two items, both manufactured by Megger: a SMART TOUCH VIEW INTERFACE (STVI-10) with a three-day lead time, and an SPI-500 Primary Current Injection Test Set with a one-day lead time. Delivery is required to Austin Energy's Kramer Lane Service Center at 2526 Kramer Lane, Building E, Austin, Texas 78758-4116.

All quotations must be submitted via email on an FOB Destination basis with freight charges included in item prices. Offerors may not charge separately for administrative costs, overhead, per diem, shipping, transportation costs, travel time, fuel surcharges, mileage, or stop fees. Unit prices must not exceed four decimal places. The City is exempt from federal excise and state sales taxes; taxes must not be included in quoted prices.

The City follows a tiered notification process, with initial quotes solicited from certified HUBs or M/WBE vendors; if adequate quotes are not received, the solicitation is posted online to all vendors registered for applicable commodity codes. Payment will be made within 30 days of receipt of properly documented invoices, contingent upon delivery of conforming goods and subject to applicable payment discounts at the City's discretion. The quantities listed are estimates only and do not guarantee purchase of the stated amounts. Standard City of Austin contract terms and conditions apply, including insurance coverage, compliance with applicable laws, non-discrimination certifications, wage theft certifications, and indemnification and warranty provisions. Contact: Ahide Garcia, 512-974-2803, Ahide.Garcia@AustinTexas.gov.
