Preventative Maintenance Clyde Muse Center

The state and local contract opportunity involves preventative maintenance services for the Clyde Muse Center, located in Harrison County and Weir Town, Mississippi. The procurement seeks a qualified contractor to perform comprehensive maintenance on chillers, boilers, and HVAC units at the facility. The solicitation was initially posted on May 17, 2019, with a proposal submission deadline of June 4, 2019. While specific evaluation criteria are not fully discernible due to a potential document corruption issue with the attached bid file, the core procurement appears to focus on ensuring optimal operational functionality of critical mechanical systems. The contract seems to require technical expertise in preventative maintenance procedures for complex climate control infrastructure, suggesting potential requirements for specialized mechanical engineering or HVAC maintenance certifications.

Unfortunately, without a fully readable bid document, definitive details about set-aside designations, incumbent vendors, or precise budget ranges cannot be comprehensively confirmed. The procurement is situated within Mississippi's governmental procurement framework, involving Harrison County and Weir Town jurisdictions. Given the technical nature of the maintenance requirements, the opportunity likely favors vendors with demonstrable experience in commercial HVAC system maintenance, potentially including small business or local enterprise participation preferences. The contract's estimated value and specific performance expectations remain unclear due to the document's compromised readability. Interested bidders would typically need to demonstrate technical competence, relevant licensing, insurance requirements, and potentially past performance in similar municipal facility maintenance contracts.
