About this opportunity

Pinellas County, Florida is requesting quotes for preventative maintenance and repair services for nine air compressors serving the Solid Waste and Public Works departments under ITQ with a proposal deadline of September 17, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. via OpenGov. A Small Business Enterprise (SBE) preference applies to certified SBEs on this contract over $100,000; those submitting within the first five business days receive priority, and those submitting after receive a five percent pricing preference.

The scope covers preventative maintenance, inspections, and 24/7/365 emergency repair services at the Industrial Water Treatment Facility, Hazardous Household Waste facility, and three Alum System locations. Services must follow strict manufacturer specifications and include lubrication and oil changes, filter replacements, belt and hose inspections, electrical system checks, pressure and safety control testing, and full system performance evaluation. The vendor must provide detailed maintenance reports, technician qualifications documentation, emergency service response records, and maintenance schedules.

The contract term is 36 months from award with optional two 12-month renewal periods, contingent on written agreement and County Administrator or Director of Purchasing approval, provided all prices, terms, and conditions remain unchanged. Pricing must be fully inclusive of all manufacturer-recommended parts, replacement components, lubricants, filters, consumables, and labor for scheduled maintenance with no additional charges for routine preventative maintenance. Unit prices are firm for the contract duration; vendors may request annual price adjustments after 12 months using the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Consumer Price Index or Producer Price Index, not to exceed the relevant index change. An additional line item covers unspecified funds not exceeding 10 percent of total contract value.

Contractors must hold current certificates of insurance including Workers' Compensation, Commercial General Liability ($1,000,000 combined single limit), and Business Automobile Liability coverage, and must be registered with the Florida Division of Corporations.
