The Kingdom Trail Association (KTA) is seeking a Project Management Consultant to lead the predevelopment work for the NEK Outdoor Recreation Community Hub project in Caledonia County, Vermont. The selected consultant will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the predevelopment phase, including obtaining necessary permits, conducting required studies, overseeing the design and engineering work, and assisting with grant writing and securing additional funding. The project has a budget of up to $100,000 to support professional services and technical assistance, as well as additional funding for permitting fees. Responses to the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) are due by Friday, June 21, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. Proposals will be evaluated based on the consultant's documented experience in project management, technical staff capability, experience working with government agencies, experience with NEPA and the environmental review process, cost, and any other relevant factors.
KTA encourages responses from disadvantaged, women-owned, minority-owned, and small local firms. The selected consultant will be expected to execute a contract that contains pass-through provisions regarding federal programs and assurances related to the grant-funded work. The successful consultant may have the opportunity to continue their involvement in the project as it moves from predevelopment through construction.
