About this opportunity
The City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management is conducting a multi-step sealed bid process to procure OEM-approved compressor systems parts, services, and repair services for water reclamation facilities, with a prequalification phase followed by an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The pre-solicitation conference notice is due by June 30, 2026.
Vendors must be an original equipment manufacturer, authorized distributor, or certified service provider for air compressor systems and demonstrate a minimum of three years' experience providing maintenance, repair, and parts supply for industrial compressor equipment of similar size and complexity. This is a decision-critical eligibility filter. The scope covers nine equipment groups: EIM Actuators, EL-O-Matic Actuators, Red Valve Actuators, Beck Actuators, Limitorque Actuators, Rotork Actuators, Pratt Actuator Valves, Dezurik Actuator Valves, and miscellaneous equipment. Bidders must be manufacturer-certified representatives or authorized distributors for the specific brands they propose.
Vendors must supply at least 90 percent of required parts within 24 hours and access remaining parts within 72 hours; failure to meet this requirement may result in contract termination. All equipment must be currently in production and comply with OSHA, FAA, and Georgia OSHA requirements. Vendors must employ qualified, properly licensed technicians and perform on-site diagnostics, preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and system rebuilds for multiple manufacturer systems. All equipment includes a mandatory one-year warranty on parts and services from delivery. Payment terms offer a five percent discount for payment within ten days or net 30 calendar days of invoice. Bidders may propose optional multi-year purchase concepts covering three years, though the City of Atlanta Code of Ordinance prohibits obligating future budget years without express approval. All subcontractors must be identified in the bid submission and complete the IIREA Form; failure to disclose subcontractors will result in contract termination if awarded. Bidders must submit annual itemized reports of purchases within 15 days after the contract anniversary date.

The City of Atlanta, on behalf of the Department of Watershed Management (DWM), will shortly undergo a Multi-Step Sealed Bid process comprised of a prequalification phase as the initial step, followed by an Invitation for Bid (IFB), towards the procurement of qualified contractors to provide OEM-approved compressor systems parts, services, and repairs to support continuous and compliant operations across multiple water reclamation facilities. Interested vendors must be an original equipment manufacturer (OEM), authorized distributor, or certified service provider for air compressor systems and must demonstrate a minimum of three (3) years of experience providing maintenance, repair, and parts supply for industrial compressor equipment of similar size and complexity. Vendors shall have the capability to supply at least 90% of required parts within 24 hours and access remaining parts within 72 hours. Vendors must employ qualified and properly licensed technicians and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA requirements. Vendors must also demonstrate the ability to perform on-site diagnostics, preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and system rebuilds for multiple manufacturer systems.
