About this opportunity

Pikes Peak Community College (PPCC) issued a Documented Quote (DQ 16-811) solicitation for on-line electronic library databases to support the PPCC Library system, with the resulting award available to 13 system-wide colleges as participating entities. This procurement seeks quotes for 15 distinct database products and packages, primarily EBSCO-branded resources including Academic Search Complete, Associates Program Source, Child Development & Adolescent Studies, Communication & Mass Media Complete, CINAHL, Computers & Applied Sciences Complete, eBook Academic Collection, eBook Community College Collection, Discovery Service, Educational Resource Information Center, Food Science Source, Library Literature & Information Science Full Text, Science & Technology Collection, Multiple EBSCO eBooks, and a Lynx Database Package containing 21 EBSCO databases. All quotes must be submitted on the provided quote response sheet by June 24, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time to the PPCC Purchasing Office. The contract term runs from July 1, 2016, through June 30, 2017, with pricing to remain firm throughout this period. Pricing must include all shipping, handling, and delivery charges on an FOB Destination basis to two PPCC campus locations, with annual flat fees covering licensing and platform fees and unlimited user access. Payment terms are Net 45 days following receipt and acceptance of services. PPCC reserves the right to award each item to separate vendors or consolidate all items to a single vendor.

Vendors must be registered on Colorado's CORE system and ColoradoVSS vendor portal to be considered responsive at award and must comply with Colorado's reciprocity statutes, certification regarding unauthorized immigrants, PERA retiree identification, and attestations regarding contractor identity and performance location. A Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) preference will be applied as a 5% deduction on qualifying bids. Multiple bids from a single vendor are not permitted; only one best offer will be accepted per vendor. All respondents must provide a completed W-9 form. Costs exceeding $100,000 will be procured through a State of Colorado contract, indicating that this solicitation may result in significant award values. No incumbent vendors or existing infrastructure integration requirements are mentioned in the solicitation materials.
