The scope covers comprehensive pest management for 494,653 square feet of interior space and 57 acres of exterior grounds, including roach, ant, flea, termite, bed bug, mosquito, and wildlife control and removal. Services must be performed Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Central Time, with 24/7 emergency availability. All personnel must pass comprehensive Texas Department of Public Safety criminal and sex offender background checks at the contractor's expense prior to work commencement. Pricing must be firm and fixed for the contract life, submitted on the provided Pricing Sheet with all-inclusive unit rates covering labor, equipment, materials, and supplies. Standard warranty periods for flea, bed bug, and basic pest control treatments must be provided.

The initial contract term is three years, effective September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2029, with no renewal options. The HHS Agency reserves the right to extend the contract for up to one additional year for continuity of service or transition purposes. Contractors must maintain comprehensive insurance including workers' compensation, commercial general liability, commercial automobile liability, professional liability, and umbrella coverage, each at $1,000,000 minimum. Questions are due July 15, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Central Time.
