About this opportunity

The State of Ohio, specifically the Hocking Hills State Park, is procuring passenger bus transportation services for their Annual Winter Hike event on January 18, 2025. The park requires 10 buses with a minimum seating capacity of 40 passengers each to shuttle hikers between various locations within the park from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on the event date. The contractor must provide licensed drivers, radios for communication, and fuel for the buses. Detailed bus routes and pickup/drop-off locations are provided. Bidders are encouraged to conduct a site visit prior to submitting a quote, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the lowest lot total, calculated by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage. The contract term is for the one-day event on January 18, 2025, and the awarded supplier will be required to sign an Addendum to Bid Quote or Personal Services Agreement.

The procurement includes set-aside provisions for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Encouraging Diversity, Growth and Equity (EDGE) vendors. The State's Standard Terms and Conditions, which outline regulatory requirements, contractual provisions, liability terms, and administrative procedures, will apply to the contract. The State has the right to terminate the contract if services are performed outside the United States without a waiver. The total contract value is not specified, but the budget is for the transportation of 400 passengers (10 buses x 40 passengers each) for the one-day event.
