About this file
This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio for bus transportation services for their Annual Winter Hike event on January 18, 2025. The park requires 10 buses with a minimum seating capacity of 40 passengers each to shuttle hikers between various locations within the park. The contractor must provide licensed drivers, radios for communication, and fuel for the buses. The buses are needed from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on the event date, with 8 buses required at 8:00 AM and 2 additional buses at 9:30 AM. The document provides detailed bus routes and pickup/drop-off locations. Bidders are encouraged to conduct a site visit prior to submitting a quote, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The contract term is for the one-day event on January 18, 2025.
The RFQ states that the contract will be awarded based on the lowest lot total, calculated by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage. Failure to bid on all items may result in the bidder being deemed non-responsive. The awarded supplier will be required to sign an Addendum to Bid Quote or Personal Services Agreement. Invoices must be submitted directly to Ohio Shared Services and contain specific information, such as the purchase order number, supplier name, service location, and itemized charges.
