About this opportunity
Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is accepting sealed bids for drilling, construction, development, and testing of two production wells — Pagni 2 Well and Zolezzi 3 Well — under public works contract PWP #WA-2026-531, with bids due October 6, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. An optional pre-bid conference and site visit is scheduled for September 23, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at a location 300 feet west of the corner of US 395 S. and Pagni Lane in Washoe County, Nevada.
The scope encompasses all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to drill and construct the wells using the dual-tube air flooded reverse drilling method with concentric dual-wall drill pipe. Both wells will be constructed of stainless-steel casing and screen with glass beads, ranging from 10 to 14 inches inner diameter and 250 to 530 feet in depth. The wells will be drilled within 100 feet of existing production wells that will remain non-operational during drilling but must be preserved for future use.
Sealed bids must be submitted electronically through NGEM (the online bidding system); hard copy and facsimile submissions will not be accepted. Bidding documents, including contract documents, specifications, and drawings, are available through the TMWA Procurement Services website at tmwa.com. Bids will be opened electronically without a public bid opening, with results and bid tabulation posted on NGEM and bidders notified electronically. Bid evaluation will follow Nevada Revised Statute 338.147.
