About this opportunity
Gwinnett County, Georgia is soliciting quotes for industrial dish detergents and sanitizers on an annual contract with four one-year renewal options, with quotes due July 7, 2026 at 3:00 p.m., and a pre-quote conference scheduled for June 15, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gwinnett County Buford Senior Center.
The scope covers six product categories: dishwasher rinse additives (10 cases annually), low-temperature dish machine sanitizers (7 cases), metal-safe solid dishwasher detergent (14 cases), manual pot and pan detergent (24 cases), quick-drying liquid freezer cleaner (6 cases), and lime scale remover (6 cases). Suppliers may quote compatible alternative products; if their detergent is incompatible with existing equipment, they must include dispenser installation costs. The county operates five active senior center locations with Hobart CL54E, Champion DH6000, Hobart AM16T-BAS, and CMA Ventless CMA-180 dishwasher units. Bidders are encouraged to visit these locations for equipment evaluation.
Pricing must be firm for the initial term and all renewal options, submitted on an F.O.B. Destination basis to the Gwinnett County Senior Services Center, with all delivery charges included. Unit pricing will be evaluated using the lowest unit of measure (cost per liter, gallon, or pound) rounded to four decimal places. Delivery must occur between 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The county reserves the right to add or delete locations at mutually agreeable and comparable rates.
All successful bidders must maintain an A.M. Best rating of A-7 or higher, be authorized to do business in Georgia, and comply with federal requirements including E-Verify, equal employment opportunity, nondiscrimination, and Davis-Bacon provisions. Questions are due June 22, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Quotes should be submitted via email to Casey Beauston at casey.beauston@gwinnettcounty.com or delivered to the Gwinnett County Financial Services Purchasing Division at 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046.
