About this file
This is Addendum #1 to solicitation PA015-26 issued by Gwinnett County, Georgia for the purchase of industrial dish detergents and sanitizers on an annual contract. The addendum updates the quote submission deadline from 3:00 p.m. on July 7, 2026, to 3:00 p.m. on July 17, 2026. The contract covers six product categories including dishwasher rinse additives, low-temperature sanitizers, metal-safe solid detergent, manual pot and pan detergent, quick-drying liquid freezer cleaner, and lime scale remover needed for five County senior center locations: Gwinnett Senior Services Center (GSSC), Norcross, Lawrenceville, Buford, and Centerville. Specific annual usage quantities are provided for each location, with GSSC distributing supplies as needed to other sites. Bidders are encouraged to visit locations to evaluate existing dishwashing equipment, with primary contact information provided for each facility. The contract is structured on an annual basis with four one-year renewal options, and award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
This is a new contract with no incumbent supplier and an estimated annual spend of approximately $27,000 based on historical expenditures. Pricing must be submitted on an F.O.B. Destination basis with all delivery charges included, and unit pricing will be evaluated using the lowest unit of measure rounded to four decimal places. The County will consider alternative forms of past performance documentation from smaller or newer government contractors if comparable contract references are unavailable. Safety Data Sheets and product specifications should be readily available upon request, though bidders may submit supporting documentation with their quote packages. If proposed products are compatible with existing equipment and no dispenser installation is required, bidders should mark applicable line items as "N/A" rather than $0.00. The County has approved funding for this project and expects competitive pricing from all suppliers. The addendum must be signed and returned with the quote submission to avoid the quote being deemed non-responsive.
