The scope encompasses demolition of three to four existing 1,536-square-foot concrete block cabins and construction of three to four replacement cabins (quantity contingent upon funding and cost estimates) of 2,970 square feet each, including associated site and utility work. The new cabins are commercial construction based on a prototype designed to match recently constructed replacement cabins at the facility.

The University will evaluate submissions and notify selected firms to advance to Stage II, at which point it will release the Request for Proposals, conduct a mandatory pre-proposal site visit, and evaluate proposals with interviews of all qualified firms before final contractor selection. The University will complete the contracting process following award.
