About this opportunity
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is pursuing a single-source procurement with Orlando Sports Holding, LLC for multi-media advertising and sports event promotion services. This statutorily mandated procurement aims to promote the "Fresh From Florida" brand and generate retail sales for Florida agricultural products through Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride sporting events. The contract will run from its execution date through June 30, 2026, with an estimated contract value of $100,000.00 and a total potential spending limit of up to $150,000.00. The procurement is authorized under Chapter 571, Part II of Florida Statutes, specifically the Florida Agricultural Promotional Campaign Act. Prospective vendors who believe they can provide similar commodities or services are required to submit relevant information to the contact person by June 18, 2025. If no alternative vendors are identified, the department will proceed with Orlando Sports Holding, LLC as the sole source provider.
The procurement appears to be exclusively available to Orlando Sports Holding, LLC due to their unique ownership, licensing, naming rights, and trademarks associated with their sporting events. No specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises are mentioned in the documentation. The single-source justification is based on Orlando Sports Holding's exclusive rights to advertising at their sporting events, which makes them the only potential vendor for this specific marketing opportunity. The contract is specifically focused on Leon County and will leverage Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride's platforms to promote Florida agricultural products. The procurement process allows for a 15-business day period for potential alternative vendors to demonstrate their capabilities, after which the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services will make a final determination on the single-source procurement.
