About this opportunity
The City of Cheyenne, Wyoming is requesting bids on one new 2026 or newer Broce 350 street sweeper or approved equal under Invitation to Bid, with sealed bids due June 26, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time via electronic submission through the City's eProcurement Portal. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid Zoom meeting on June 4, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time is required for bidder eligibility. Wyoming residency receives a 5% price preference provided the bid does not exceed 5% of the lowest nonresident bidder's price; this preference does not apply if federal funds are involved.
The sweeper must be equipped with an enclosed cab with safety glass, Cummins 74 horsepower engine, Sauer-Danfoss hydrostatic transmission, 96-inch sweeping width poly tube broom, 150-gallon water sprinkling system, and cab amenities including heat, air conditioning, backup camera, and integrated 2-way radio systems. The City has issued detailed specification line items (57 total) against which bidders must respond "Y" (yes) or "N" (no); any "Y" response that is qualified, altered, or conditioned will be deemed non-responsive. All items must be new manufacturer's current models.
The City is accepting a trade-in of a 2003 Broce CR350 sweeper (Unit #5661, Serial #403333) currently in service with 1,626 hours. Bidders must provide unit pricing, state their proposed delivery timeframe in calendar days after receipt of order (used to calculate liquidated damages for delay), and submit a bid guarantee equal to 5% of the total bid amount. Bidders must also submit marked specification sheets, manufacturer's standard equipment list, warranty documentation, parts and service manuals, electrical schematics, and operator manuals. Questions are due June 11, 2026 at 5:00 p.m., with the City providing responses via addendum by June 15, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. City Council approval is anticipated July 27, 2026, with Purchase Order issuance estimated July 28, 2026.
